What your child builds

A voyage that tests a budget. Your child splits 10 coins a week between four chests (Save, Give and Future on sliders; Spend gets what's left), then sails for eight weeks past markets, a harbour to help at, a storm, a treasure cove and the goal island. Only four plans win every treasure.

Three editions: Sail a sailboat, a dhow or a river boat, saving for a skateboard, a scooter or an art kit.

What they learn

  • A four-jar budget: spend, save, give, future
  • Paying yourself first
  • Emergency savings for stormy weeks
  • My Blocks: custom blocks, one with an input
  • Lists as a route
  • Comparing words

For grown-ups

A budget your child can sail. Every pack ends with a section for you: what your child learned in each build, and questions to keep the conversation going.

“If you got 10 coins a week, how would you split them?”

“What could be a ‘storm’ in real life?”

“Who would you like to help with your Give jar?”
